# Pulse Connect

Pulse Connect exposes your Fortis Pulse business-health data — scores, flags, KPIs, and decisions — to any HTTP client, AI agent, or automation. Everything the dashboard shows you can be pulled programmatically, so you can pipe workspace health into your own tooling instead of the UI.

## Three surfaces

| Surface | Use it when | Start here |
| ------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| **REST** | You're calling the API from code, scripts, or an integration. Standard JSON over HTTPS. | [Getting started](/getting-started.md) |
| **MCP** | You want an AI agent (Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client) to answer questions about workspace health. | [MCP server](/mcp.md) |
| **Webhooks** | You want Fortis Pulse to push events to you the moment something changes. | [Webhooks](/webhooks/overview.md) |

REST and MCP authenticate with the same Pulse Connect API keys and enforce the same scopes. Webhooks are the exception: deliveries are signed with each endpoint's own `whsec_…` signing secret — created, revealed, and rotated in the dashboard, not via API keys. See [Webhooks](/webhooks/overview.md).

## Base URLs

| Surface | Base URL |
| ------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| REST | `https://app.fortispulse.com/api/connect/v1` |
| MCP | `https://mcp.fortispulse.com` (or `https://app.fortispulse.com/api/mcp`) |
